    Exterior Modification

All exterior alterations or improvements to a property must be reviewed and approved in advance of construction by the Architectural Review Committee (ARC). Residents must submit a home improvement application describing the work to be performed. If it is not approved as submitted, the ARC may provide suggestions for making changes so it can be resubmitted for approval. The ARC reviews requests on the first Thursday of each month, so please submit requests to CMSI at least several days before.

The request form is under Documents, Home Improvement Application. The scanned form may be e-mailed to CMSI.

This website may also be used to submit a request under Resources eForms Architectural Request, or contact Jackie Suarez at CMSI at jsuarez@cmsisolutions.com or 281-480-2563.

Any applications dealing with the exterior appearance of the house (such as painting or roofing) must be accompanied with project details, or the application might be disapproved for lack of information. Also, include a plat map or survey of the property that indicates the project relative to the property lines and easements, when applicable.

In this website, visit the Documents, Architectural Guidelines and Deed Restrictions (requires login), to review all of the Architectural Guidelines and Deed Restrictions.

    Reporting Deed Violations

Any resident may anonymously report potential deed restriction violations by contacting CMSI. Please provide the address to examine and the concern. Photos of the concern are helpful. Please e-mail photos to CMSI at the links near the top of this page.

    Periodic Crime Watch Message:

Summer is upon us, which brings more people out at night when the temperature is cooler. Crime also tends to rise during summer months, especially auto related crimes. Below are five simple tips to help avoid becoming a victim.

Five Tips to Avoid Auto Crime

    1. Hide your valuables from plain sight to avoid attracting thieves.

    2. Lock your vehicle and take your keys. Approximately 50% of all vehicles stolen were left unlocked.

    3. Never hide a second set of keys in or on your vehicle. Extra keys can easily be found by thieves.

    4. Park in well-lighted areas and attended parking lots. More than half of all vehicle thefts occur at night and thieves tend to target unattended lots.

    5. Never leave your vehicle running, even if you will only be away for a minute. Vehicles are commonly stolen at convenience stores, gas stations, ATM’s etc. Many vehicles are also stolen on hot mornings when the owner leaves the vehicle running to cool it off.
